YK : Music
Yakumo Kobe reborns in music after working for years in the music and movie industry. His electronic sound sees the light from melodies hidden in the sounds he heavily processes with creative use of filters and the aid of homemade instruments and outboard. Dark and dreamy atmospheres meet gritty and cutting percussions, a shamanic rite to go deep in the consciousness. His first official release, "Kintsugi", comes after four albums that never saw the light, many singles as a ghost producer in the dance-trance scene and years of performances in the band "Noise a.m"

The Monkey speaks
The Monkey speaks is a sound experience that you cannot miss. Each track is a piece of the emotional puzzle of Yakumo Kobe, and together form a soundscape as hypnotic as it is deep
Did this album leave a mark on my consciousness? Definitely. And perhaps I will rethink my harmony with the surrounding world. Undoubtedly, “The Monkey speaks” is a challenge to dialogue with oneself.

High Clouds
I think your album was quite emotional and cinematic. Of course, with this kind of music, it's quite easy to imagine scenes, landscapes...
Helena Lynch - VoxWave Magazine
[Yakumo Kobe] skillfully weaves threads of sound into a cohesive image. For him, sound is a hidden melody that needs to be revealed
Ambient Soundscapes
The diversity in sounds are very nice and the production sounds rock solid. I like the combination of the industrial vibe with the ambience going on in the background.
Plastic Mag
Really original styles, liking the instrumentation mix and the production is great too.
